At Alfalfa Social we have worked with many customers to help them better understand social media and to apply this new found knowledge to their business. 

Training sessions are fully customisable to your knowledge level, your business needs and even the amount of time you can spare.  Best of all, I come to you.  Are you outside of Melbourne? Let's see what we can arrange.

How It Works
Once you’ve expressed your interest in learning to use social media for your organisation, I'll send you a short questionnaire so you can tell me a little about your business, your current knowledge level and what you’d like to learn.  Not sure yet what you’d like to know?   Don’t worry, I can help you figure that out.

We then have a chat (or email if you prefer) to work out a list of topics to cover at your training session.  Popular topics covered with our clients to date include:
  • Creating a social media strategy.
  • What platforms are best for my business? How do I use them?
  • Content – how often should I be posting? Where do I get my content from?
  • The magic ratio – how much of my content should be about my product?
  • Getting the “social” into social media.  It’s not a one way discussion!
  • Measuring the success of your social media efforts.
  • Facebook advertising - how, when, what, how much to spend.
  • Blogging – how to structure a blog post for both readability and SEO.
  • Email marketing.
  • Digital skills for community organisations.
  • Plus much more.
Sessions can be a short as two hours for a 1:1 hands on session and anything up to a full day, 20 plus people seminar style event - and all points in between.

Training Day
  • I come to you. For on one sessions, we can work pretty much anywhere – your place of work, home or even a café (coffee’s on me!).  For two or three people or groups, a quieter space such as an office or meeting room is better.
  • We work through the agreed agenda (put together from the training needs identified during our initial discussions) plus leave time for any other topics that might come up over the course of the session.

Afterwards
The social media education service doesn’t end when your session does.  You're always welcome to contact me with any follow up questions.
